Irene Kinuthia is an Executive Coach at Strathmore Business School (SBS). She is the first coach in Kenya to be certified as a ‘strength-based development coach’, overall 5th in Africa and an alumnus of the International Faculty Development Program at IESE, the highest globally ranked executive education business school in Spain.
Irene is a member of a number of international bodies that regulate the coaching practice like the International Coach Federation (ICF), European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and the Work and Family Researchers Network (WFRN).
Irene initiated and set up the transformational leadership coaching department at the business school and as a faculty member, her areas of focus are strategy review and execution, team dynamics, process improvement, employee engagement, and personal leadership. She has coached executives in organizations such as Barclays Bank (Kenya), Equity Bank (Uganda), Centenary Bank (Uganda) NMB Bank (Tanzania) ILRI (Ethiopia), Safaricom (Kenya), Airtel (Tanzania) among many others.
